Nancy Tintle has been involved in community theatre, cabaret shows and musical revues since the 80’s in Charlotte, Hickory and Gastonia, NC, and now Eastport’s Stage East.  She has worked in the technical side of theatre, including costumes/make-up, set building, running spot light and, stage hand.  She also has acted and directed, both here and in North Carolina.

Elaine in the role of a life-time: pirate.
___Elaine Abbott made her theatre debut in the musical,  "70, Girls, 70" in Summer 2009.  Since then, she's performed in "Sure Thing", "The Philadelphia", and "Babels in Arms" (2009), "The Late Christopher Bean" (2010), "Man From Earth" (2010), and "Butterflies Are Free" (2011).  Elaine was happily locked in the stocks during the historical reenactment of the Trial of Ann Bonney and Mary Read at Eastport's 2011 Pirate Festival (there's no denying she's been bitten by the theatre bug!). After serving as Secretary on the Stage East Board of Directors, Elaine was voted Vice President in 2011 and encourages everyone with an interest in theatre to contact Stage East.  Elaine lives in Eastport with her husband, Kerry, and their two dogs, Molly and Winnie.

Sue as the complaining wife in New Years Eve Shorts
_Sue Butler lives in Eastport along with her artist husband, Dan, son, Matt, and 3 chihuahuas. She dabbled in theater in high school but has not done anything in this regard since. Her love of Eastport and its community has enticed her to get reinvolved with theater. She assisted Dan who directed “The Man From Earth” in the fall of 2010 and then again assisted him when he directed “Butterflies are Free” in the summer of 2011. On New Year’s Eve in 2011, she appeared as Arleen, the short-tempered, bickering wife in Rich Orloff’s short play entitled “Matterhorn”. She is looking forward to acting again in the not-too-distant future.

Dan Butler is a local Eastport artist whose love of the theater was rekindled after appearing in the Stage East summer 2010 production The Late Christopher Bean.  Dan had appeared in performances of the Glass Menagerie and Hamlet in high school, but lost touch with the stage in the intervening years.  Since Bean, Dan co-directed and acted in Stage East fall 2010 production The Man From Earth, appeared in three of  the 2010/2011 New Year’s eve offering New Year’s Shorts and directed the Stage East summer 2011 production  Butterflies are Free.  Dan is a full-time resident of Eastport with his lovely wife Susan, son Matthew, and three Chihuahuas: Manny, Sarge and Digby.

_Kathleen  Esposito grew up in Eastport and can barely remember a time when she wasn't involved in theater productions in the area, from Children's Theater to Stage East to Shead's Mixed Nuts and The Magnificent Liars. She performed on stage in such Stage East productions as Sea & Town, Teddy & Alice, Once Upon A Mattress, Quilters, and as the Ghost of Christmas Past in both productions of A Christmas Carol. She has also assisted back stage with many other shows.  After some time away for college, Kathleen has returned home and is working as a dental hygienist for Eastport Health Care. She is looking forward to being involved with the Board of Directors and also to return to the stage again.
